Most of his were originally published in paperback by Dell and Bantam. <BR/><BR/>And THE FAR CRY is another excellent novel. It's setting is almost the exact opposite of MADBALL - instead of a carnival Brown is depicting an isolated small town in New Mexico. As usual, though, Brown concentrates heavily on the psychology of the characters, and the ending is rather unsettling.
